We were in Las Vegas for the PMA show this past January when Rick suggested we shoot in the Desert of Fire. We used the Canon HDV AH-1 camera and the Digital Rebel XTi. Of course, what happens frequently when traveling with Rick, he gets recognized. We’re walking through a small canyon on our way to some rock paintings when we pass two people, one of whom says “hey..aren’t you Rick Sammon?” She had taken one of Rick’s seminars 3 years before!
