Rick’s Top Ten Digital Photography Tips

I’d had never been to the desert before this shoot. We were in Las Vegas for the PMA show this past January when Rick suggested we shoot in the Desert of Fire. We used the Canon HDV AH-1 camera and the Digital Rebel XTi. Of course, what happens frequently when traveling with Rick, he gets recognized. We’re walking through a small canyon on our way to some rock paintings when we pass two people, one of whom says “hey..aren’t you Rick Sammon?” She had taken one of Rick’s seminars 3 years before!
